Photo Description:Lving Liberty Bell - No. of officers and men, 25,000. Taken at Camp Dix, N.J. Major General Hugh I. Scoot Com'd'g. The following ground measurements are of particular interest: Length of beam across top, 368 ft.; width of bell at bottom, 64 ft.; width of beam, top to bottom, 580 ft. The bolt is over three times the length of the bell itself. The length of the beam is almost six times the width of the bell.
